AMAZING CALIFORNIA. Cactuses, goldfish and the sky / УДИВИТЕЛЬНАЯ КАЛИФОРНИЯ. КАКТУСЫ И ЗОЛОТАЯ РЫБКА

The sky in California is higher, than in Moscow, and much higher than on Far North. Panorama is more majestic, epic :) Like you see a hero leaving afar – lonely, but unbroken (despite). And what amazing clouds! Always absolutely different. Even at the same time! These as the flying islands from "Avatar". That at the left. And on the right - a powerful cloud heap :)

Though clouds here is infrequent phenomenon. Rains in general go only several times in a year, and who caught such rarity, those start proudly to post a selfie with rain in social networks :)

Небо в Калифорнии выше, чем в Москве, и тем более на Крайнем Севере. Больше простора! Панорама более величественная, эпическая smile emoticon Так и видишь героя, уезжающего вдаль – одинокого, но несломленного (несмотря на). А какие удивительные облака! Всегда совершенно разные. Даже в одно и то же время! Эти - словно летающие острова из «Аватара». Те, что слева. А справа - мощная туча-куча.
Хотя облака здесь нечастое явление. Дожди вообще идут всего несколько раз в году, и успевшие заснять такую редкость тут же начинают гордо постить селфи с дождем в соцсети 

Moon here is big and bright at nights and well noticeable even directly at light of day, hours in 4-6. Surprising!

Удивила Луна - большая и яркая ночью и хорошо заметная прямо при свете дня, часов c 4.

On the streets pines and palm trees are peaceful neighbours. Often you can meet also cypresses and eucalyptuses. And there are a lot of blossoming bushes. Beautifully!
Про растительность: на улицах мирно соседствуют сосны и пальмы. Часто встречаются кипарисы и эвкалипты. Много цветущих кустов. Красиво! (кстати, эта улица называется «Кленовая». Что-то ни одного клена я на ней не увидела wink emoticon )

А на этой улице растут кусты с огромными круглыми лимонами (муж сказал, это именно лимоны). Нехило для ноября!

Never I saw such variety of cactuses, as in California!

Никогда не видела такое разнообразие кактусов, как в Калифорнии!

The hottest month here is September. This year September temperature kept round mark +30 Celsius in the afternoon, periodically rising to 34. Add humidity in areas near the ocean - there is an effect of a steam bath. After that you start understanding locals for whom +17-22 at night somehow cold and is necessary to be warmed ;) To remember after that on Far North summer day with +17 Celsius seemed a  miracle and paradise pleasure (it is possible to walk without raincoat!) on the one hand, funny, and with another - sad.
Самый жаркий месяц здесь - сентябрь. В этом году сентябрьская температура днем держалась вокруг отметки 30 C, периодически поднимаясь к 34-35. Прибавьте влажность в районах возле океана - возникает эффект паровой бани. После этого начинаешь понимать местных жителей, для которых +17-22 C по ночам – чё-то как-то холодно и надо утеплиться 

wink emoticon Вспоминать после этого, как на Крайнем Севере летний день с +17 по Цельсию казался чудом и райским блаженством (можно гулять без плаща!) с одной стороны, смешно, а с другой - грустно.

Мое детство прошло на Крайнем Севере. Природа там по своему хороша (как, наверное, везде), но я ненавижу Полярную ночь. Из-за нее у нас почти все в классе были в очках. Это огромная нагрузка для любого живого организма. Еще я ненавижу мокрый лед, который осточертел мне по 6 месяцев в году в Питере и в Москве. И серое небо, когда изо дня в день не видишь Солнца. Черт побери - я заслужила Лос-Анджелес! В Калифорнии практически всегда солнечно и температура даже зимой держится вокруг комфортной для человека отметки +20 по Цельсию. Да! Да! Просто обалдеть!
My childhood passed on Far North. The nature there is beautiful - as, probably, everywhere. You can see this kind of beauty here (2 and 3 parts of the video):

+ many sacred places of Russia, such as Baikal and Altai. Many people consider that there an entrances to the Shambhala are located. And for foreign tourists to get permit to see many of these places absolutely not easy (alas) today. So I like different kinds of Nature - but I hate Polar night. Because of it almost all in my class got wearing glasses. It is huge loading for any alive organism. Still I hate wet ice which bored me for 6 months in a year in St.Petersburg and in Moscow. And the gray sky when day by day you don't see the Sun. I deserved Los Angeles! In California it is practically always solar and temperature keeps round comfortable mark +20C even in winter. Yes! Yes! It is simple to be stunned!

In California there is everything, even the real goldfishes! The nature miracle, unlike cohabitants on the pond, keeps aloof and doesn't beg for food  :) And here I for the first time saw how fishes kiss! The show, is more feasible than kiss of best friends,  cat and  dog ;)
В Калифорнии есть все, даже настоящие золотые рыбки! Чудо природы, в отличие от сожителей по пруду, держится особняком и не клянчит еду у людей smile emoticon А еще здесь я впервые увидела, как рыбы целуются! Зрелище, посильнее поцелуя неразлучных друзей, кота и собаки :) 

And this fish in the lobby of local dentist is creation of hands of humans :) The funny monster angry from loneliness, and snatched once the feeding owner for his finger. But ate all small fishes placed to the aquarium (analogies to some people arise).
А эта смешная рыбина в лобби местного дантиста - творение рук человеческих smile emoticon Она злая от одиночества, и однажды цапнула кормившего ее хозяина за палец. Хотя подсаженных к ней рыбок жрет (напрашиваются аналогии с некоторыми людьми).

For 4 months of life in Los Angeles I saw 1 homeless cat. I asked about wild animals – people speak, in mountainous areas bears can come  to human dwellings to rummage in garbage (as London foxes). To my familiar family somehow a little squirrel went on a porch – and instead of gratitude painfully snatched the hand with which just finished to gobble up nuts. The pregnant woman had to get injections from infections :(

But in general in California there are neither venomous snakes, nor huge and not less poisonous lizards, alligators with sharks, as on the Atlantic coast of the USA or in Australia.  With my difficult and distressful destiny I deserved to live in this earthly paradise :) 

За 4 месяца жизни в Лос-Анджелесе увидела 1 бездомную кошку. Спросила про диких животных – говорят, в горных районах медведи могут прийти к человеческим жилищам покопаться в мусоре (как Лондонские лисы). К моей знакомой семье как-то на крыльцо пожаловала белочка – и вместо благодарности больно укусила руку, с которой только что сожрала орехи. Беременной женщине пришлось делать уколы от бешенства

Но в целом в Калифорнии нет ни ядовитых змей, ни огромных кусучих и не менее ядовитых ящериц, ни аллигаторов с акулами, как на Атлантическом побережье США или в Австралии, которой достались все опаснейшие исчадья мира вкупе с озоновой дырой. 
Своей трудной и многострадальной судьбой я заслужила пожить в этом земном раю smile emoticon 

Especially as my husband told that he loves me every day more and more!
Тем более что мой муж сказал, что любит меня с каждым днем все больше и больше!
